 Why in Outlook 2003 we are able to receive emails but not send emails?
Solution The server requires authentication and you need to configure extra settings to send emails.

Please follow the information below to update your account in Outlook 2003.

1) Go to the "Tools" menu and select "E-mail Accounts".

2) Select "View or change existing e-mail accounts".

3) Select your account and click "Change" then click the "More Settings" button to open a new window.

4) Click the "Outgoing Server" tab and mark the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".

5) Mark the "Log on using" option and type your complete e-mail address in the "username" field and type your password.

6) Click the "Next" button and the "Finish" button.
